So our leaders want us to be leaving on stipend alone? For some days now, I saw many sureP beneficiaries still in Npower and I asked them this question... What did they achieve with the sureP? Yes, you did masters and Ph.D. with it.
But is that what life is all about?. If you can search google and read understand what Social Investment Program means in China USA and relate it with SIP is here in Nigeria. If we don't pull our limited resources together we might be as if we never received any stipend after the program.
We need to form an investment club. not compulsory only for those who want to invest a portion of their stipend. everyone member of the club is a shareholder. But we need to start meetings first.
let me give u an insight if 160 Npower people contribute 10,000 each from one stipend alone. we buy 1 or 2 unizik shuttles and keep on the road. one Npower person can be operating it. we will need high accountability.
If you think buying shuttle is not an investment they let us know because to me, I believe it's something that can put extra money in our pocket while our stipend still rolls in. Meanwhile, other suggestions are welcome as well.
