I think Npower ought to close up the communication gap between the anxious volunteers and its crews. Because the manner in which they're handling the whole scheme is not encouraging at all, ranging from haphazard payment of the stipend, online verification process down to entertaining of complaints etc are all poorly handled.
Thus, if you're to go by suggestion you need to establish at least one permanent office in each and every capital of the 36 states plus Abuja just for quick response to the various complaints. Npower would turn out to become a big time s**cam of the APC govt, they cornered everything inside Aso rock in the VP office specifically, one Pastor Laolu Akande who calls himself SA to the VP on media matter is solely responsible for all the social investment scheme, including the school feeding program, he has made everything water tight, showing gross incompetence and has brought this APC govt into disrepute by promising and promising without any result instead of him to utilize the existing structures like NYSC, etc to decentralize the process that will engage abt 500k graduates, he only do so from Aso rock with poorly recruited ICT consultants.
Baba Buhari, if Npower fails, APC is doomed in 2019, because all these youths you gave false hope and made them waste their resources on nothing will deal with you with their voter's card. Enough of moving from one media house to another boasting of paying majority whereas more than 70% are yet to receive a dime every dime appropriated for in this Npower program must be accounted for, you can't be given billions of Naira for the youth and you are sluggish about disbursement, when this govt is out, we will gather in our hundreds to testify against you on how we didn't receive a kobo.
For how long have you, people, release information,? Everybody sent a message through email, media, Npvn chat consultant, and Email. No response from all this channel and you keep mute. What do you expect? You must be expected both real and fa**ke news because rightful source failed their duty.
Zamfara State is yet to receive any payment for December, January and February stipend and Salary. Now March is 7th today. Please, I beg your good initiative to consider some light and rectify our issues of nonpayment. We have been posted and on the field working already. We can't be working without pay. We are among the 1st state to do our verification.
The March stipend not everyone has gotten, rather unfortunate that the social intervention program has been captured and politically motivated, most especially in Nasarawa state and some other states. Some friends of mine did Sure-P. They claim it was more organized and had a better response to complaints than Npower.
It's sad that up till now, people are still complaining about the stipend. By now, many of us expect that the program should have settled down and running smoothly. It so bad that everyone is in the dark. We deserve to know what is going on. Many of us are very stressed up. We have no idea what is going on and what is coming up.. Npower, please, where are We?
Before I go here is my suggestion,
1. permanently employ 774 volunteers as an administrator in each LGA to administer Corp's in their LGA and forward complaint beyond them to you... Their contract will still be 24mnths, but higher stipend of say 60k
2. Permanently engage NYSC to open salary account for all the beneficiaries and expand the scope of the NYSC accountants to process the payment of stipends
3. Immediately release the second batch and ensure that payments are harmoniously done
4. Outsource the services of PR so that complaint and feedbacks can be resolved in good time
5. Lastly, be proactive, strategic and scientific in your planning and execution of tasks. Laolu Akande Enuf is Enuf
