The ill-treatment Women Go Through In Nigeria

Today, Nigeria to survive as a woman is not an easy task at all here in this country, mostly men are seen as everything today. The ladies are treated with little or no respect this is why ill-treatment women go through here in Nigeria. Just because you are a lady, you are expected to do all chores in the house. No matter how stressful and difficult it may be. They accord the men so much love and respect to the extent that training a female one's is considered as a waste of money and resources. They practically believe that women's education ends in the kitchen.

They never believe that women can contribute anything positive to the society, they limit women from taking parts in so many things. Which it so so unfair and unacceptable, they also think women can't actually achieve great things for them, the only thing they think you can get as a lady is just to get married and make babies.
Am so sorry and ashamed at the same time to say this, in my country they see women as baby making machines.for them, once you are a grown up lady, your first priority should be to go get married. They see women that are not yet married Like their life is worthless. It really breaks my heart most times, the thing is affecting our women badly today. A lot of them doesn't even believe they can achieve any other thing aside from getting married and bearing children.

The Christianity and Church

Although is quite disturbing, now some ladies in their quest to get married and settle down, it leads them into making disastrous mistakes. Some even end up marrying touts village champions, drunkards and so on. Then again, because there no peace and love in that marriage, no Jupiter will ever make it last a lot of them are even abused, battered & maltreated by their husbands. Some of them even suffer mental torture and emotional trauma. The one that is paining me to the bone is, even when you are married, and you haven't given ur husband a male yet, that you only have female kids.
They make it seem as if women are determinant to the s. €x of their kids, not minding that kids are the gift that comes from God. And by any chance you lose ur husband since you don't have any male child, your husband's people will not even bother about your female kids. They can easily claim ownership of your husband's properties since he is gone and that you don't have a male child now this is the part that makes tears drop my eyes.

But the major aim of writing this article is to encourage my fellow women, don't allow anybody to intimidate simply because you are a Lady. Always bear it in mind that there are a million things you still achieve a side getting married and making babies. Do not let your gender or anything limit you from attaining greater heights.
